The story so far......

Elizabeth (aka Buffi) has a long history of gallery experience and art show hosting, and her daughter Robyn, who enjoys creative design, co-ordinate the gallery every summer.

Together, they have fun creating a space in Rosseau to promote local artisans and bring together a group of artists ranging from experienced artists to new up and coming artists.

Buffi first came to Rosseau as a young girl in the 1950's, staying at the historic Kwandag Hotel (now Rosseau Lake College) and has been spending time in Muskoka for the past 60 years as a cottager and year-round resident.

With a history of gallery experience and art show hosting, in Oro-Medonte Township, Buffi has been the creator and host of the Annual White House Christmas Art & Craft show for the past 22 years.

She escapes to England & Portugal during the winter months and looks forward to gathering artists from Simcoe County & Muskoka in the summer gallery.

Robyn has spent many summers in Muskoka, working summer jobs at Sherwood Inn, Cleveland's House and the Lake Joseph Club before moving to the UK.

She lives in a village outside of London, England but still returns to spend the summer in Rosseau, helping to run 'Up the Garden Path'.
Her kids help with the chalkboards signs, gallery watch and sell lemonade on hot days.

Since 2011, their families have been working on restoring the old village house while setting up the gallery.  Both feel very fortunate to be able to enjoy and share this little piece of history in the village.
